Discover the Former Coronation City of German Kings

It is time for your first guided tour and as always you’ll be guided by local professional. Begin discovering the sights of this former Coronation city of German Kings. You’ll experience a fabulous contrast between two parts of the city divided by the river Main. The modern part of the city with glass skyscrapers, shopping malls, Bank towers that form the Skyline of Frankfurt and the historical part of the city with the famous Romer area and Christmas Market on the other side of the river. Christmas in Medieval Town!

Today we’ll leave Frankfurt in the morning and drive to magical place called Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is well preserved medieval town surrounded by town wall with long history to tell. The atmosphere is always special and you feel like going back in time. Even film makers of Harry Potter decided to film 2 episodes in this lovely town. You can admire the architecture of half-timbered buildings, St.Jakob’s Church, interesting museums and unique local shops. There are so many possibilities for presents and souvenir shopping.One of the most visited shop is Kathe Wohlfarst’s Chistmas Shop. Arrival to Nuremberg is in the early evening.

A Little Town from Wood and Cloth

This morning we’ll set off for a guided tour of Nuremberg. You’ll learn about the interesting history of the city’s gothic churches,half-timbered houses and imperial castle but as well about the Nuremberg trials,toys production,Nuremberg’s ginger bread and sausages. We’ll visit the famous Christmas market which is called Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt. There are some 180 wooden market stalls, all decorated with red and white cloth.  This has earned Nuremberg’s Christmas Market the nickname “Little Town from Wood and Cloth”

Meissen Porcelain Workshop

Today we’ll be leaving Nuremberg and heading to Dresden. Before we reach our final destination for today we’ll make one stop. We’ll visit the one and only Meissen Porcelain factory and enjoy the workshop to learn about the history and production of hard paste porcelain. We’ll have included lunch and continue on to Dresden. We’ll check in to our hotel and make our way to see the Oldest Christmas Market in Germany at night.

Re-born city with the oldest Christmas market in Germany

This morning we’ll start with guided tour of Dresden.We’ll admire the baroque architecture of this beautiful city called the Jewel Box or the Florence on the Elbe with it’s famous Hofkirche, Zwinger Palace, Castle Residence or Semper Opera House. We’ll hear about „Augustus the Strong“, the Elector of Saxony, controversial bombing and reconstruction of the city. And of course we’ll hear about the history of the oldest christmas market in Germany called Striezelmarkt dating back to 1434. Its name derives from Hefestriezel, a sweet delicasy which centuries later has become know as “Dresden Christstollen” or just Stollen(German fruit cake). Time to try one!

Prague Castle

This morning we’ll leave Germany and enter the Czech Republic. The capital city Prague called the City if hundred spires will be our destination for 2 days. Our first stop will be the Prague’s Castle area called „Hradcany“. We’ll have a guided tour of the courtyards of the castle with the most recognizable landmark St.Vitus Catheadral.Enjoy the view of the city and make your first pictures in Prague.

The City of Hunderd Spires

After delicious breakfast we’ll be ready to discover the city of Prague in all it’s beauty. We’ll visit lesser town lying under the Castle are,we’ll walk through the charles bridge and we’ll get to the old town square with it’s famous astronomical clock. Our knowleadgeable local guide will tell us not only about the history of the city but as well about the current economical and polictical situation of the country. You can decide where to spend your free afternoon – visit the Jewish quarter, walk to the wenceslaus square,go to one of the museums or just enjoy your stay in the Christmas market.

The Finest Baroque Landmark – Belvedere

Our last transfer by private motor coach will get us from the capital city of Czech Republic to the capital city of Austria – the Imperial Vienna. After our included lunch and check in to our hotel we’ll be ready a visit of one of the world’s finest Baroque landmarks-the Belvedere. The complex consist of an Orangery,Palace Stables and 2 palaces,upper Belvedere and lower Belvedere build for an important general Prince Eugene of Savoy in the 18th century. Even though parts of the complex were destroyed during WWII,the reconstruction was done and today we can again admire the Marble Hall with spectacular ceiling painting,the Golden Room or the Hall of Grotesques.

The Imperial City

Today is time for our last guided city tour on this trip.We’ll be driving along the famous Ringstrasse-2,5miles long Grand Boulevard circling the city centre, build on the order of emperor Franz Joseph 150 years ago , and walking with our local guide admiring the famous Landmarks of the city – St.Stephens Cathedral, The Hofburg Imperial Palace, The Opera house, the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament Building, Maria Hilfe Strasse,Museums and more. Your afternoon is at your leisure,so you decide whethet to spend it on the biggest Christmas market in Vienna,visit some of the museums,visit some of the palaces or just wonder on the imperial streets of the city. All of us will meet in the evening for our Farewell Dinner.
