After your arrival to the airport you’ll meet our Representative who will arrange your transportation to hotel where our Tour Director will be waiting for you. Relax in your room or join one of the orientation walks. Meet for a drink and a welcome briefing in the early evening and get to know your fellow travelers. Enjoy your included Welcome dinner!

On our first city tour we’ll be discovering the city that was once divided by the heavy guarded Wall.

Our local guide will tell us about the life in the former East and West Berlin and about the changes after the fall of the wall as well as the present life in this multi culture modern city. We’ll visit the famous landmarks including Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Wall, Holocaust Memorial, Governmental District , Kurfurstendamm and many more…

After lunch on your own we’ll get back on the coach and will drive to Potsdam- a UNESCO World Heritage Site.It is a former residence of the Prussian Kings 15 miles away from Berlin. We’ll drive along the famous “Bridge of Spies”,a former crossing border used by the Americans and the Soviets for exchanging captured spies during Cold war.

We’ll have  a guided tour of  the Cecilienhof Palace.This is where the Potsdam conference took place in 1945 attended by the Big Three- Stalin, Truman and Churchill. You’ll also get the chance to admire the Terraced Gardens at Sanssouci Park build on the order of Frederik The Great.

Then all of us will enjoy an included delicious dinner in a nearby Restaurant.

We’ll learn about Meissen Porcelain

We’ll leave Berlin in the morning and drive south to visit the famous city of Meissen, where meissen porcelain is being produced for over 300 years. You’ll enjoy very interesting workshop , where you’ll get the chance to hear the story of meissen porcelain and to see a demonstration of how is this hard paste porcelain produced and painted. Then you’ll have time to visit the porcelain musem and do a little bit of shopping.

After short drive we’ll arrive to Dresden where we check in to our hotel and will enjoy and included dinner.

This morning we’ll discover the re-born city of Dresden.

We’ll hear about “Augustus the Strong” the Elector of Saxony who gathered the best musicians, architects, painters and made Dresden the leading European city of technology and art already in 18th century. We’ll hear about the controversial bombing at the end of the WWII and about the reconstruction of the city that took over 60 years. One of the last buildings finished was the Church of our Lady(Frauenkirche) in 2005 and most of the funds came from donations from all around the world.Today we can again admire the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace, the Castle Residence, the Dresden Cathedral and more.

Visit some of the great museums, take a walk along the Elbe river, or just simply wonder around and enjoy this magnificent baroque city during your free afternoon. At the end of the day you’ll understand why Dresden is called the  “Jewel Box” or the “Florence on the Elbe”.

Time to leave Germany and visit Czech Republic

Today we’ll be leaving Germany, but before we do so, we’ll make one stop just outside of Dresden at the place called “Bastei”. This amazing rock formation towering in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains was formed by water erosion over one million years ago. We’ll take a stroll and you’ll have a chance to take great pictures with breathtaking view.

Then we’ll cross the borders and have our first  lunch in Czech Republic. Our next stop will be the town of Terezin(Czech language) or Theresienstadt(german language). Build by the Habsburg Emperor Josef II as a defence town , it never served it’s purpose. It became infamous during WWII when Nazis transformed the town in to Ghetto and formed a Concentration Camp. We’ll visit the Monument dedicated to the victims of terror and have a guided tour of the former Concentration Camp.

We’ll arrive to Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic in the early evening. Join your Tour Director for an orientation walk and enjoy your included Dinner.

It is Time to Discover the City of Hundred Spires!

First stop on our guided city tour will be the Castle district called “Hradcany” where we walk through the courtyards of Prague’s castle  and visit the most recognizable landmark St.Vitus Cathedral. Then we continue on to lesser town and walk through the Charles bridge to the Old town. All of the historic centre is a UNESCO world heritage site. We’ll end our city tour at the Old town square near the Astromical clock. Your Tour Director will have recommendations for you where to have lunch or dinner and suggestions for your free afternoon.

Today we’ll experience Prague like the locals!

We’ll be using public transportation to move around the city. Your Tour Director will take you to the  St.Cyril and Methodius Church what is today Memorial to the Heroes of Heydrich Terror. You’ll hear the story of brave Czechoslovak paratroopers that assasinated Rheinhard Heydrich-one of the highest ranking Nazi officers during WWII and visit the crypt where they were hiding. Then follow your Tour Director  to the famous Wenceslas Square. You’ll hear about the most important events that took place here like Prague’s Spring,Jan Palach’s death or the Velvet Revolution that resulted in the fall of communism.

Lunch is on your own and afternoon is at your leisure. All of us will meet again in the evening and enjoy a special Folklore Dinner!

It is time to leave Prague and head to the southern part of Czech Republic.

Our final destination for today is Cesky krumlov,but we’ll make one stop in the morning and visit the Budweisser Brewery. Yes,the Czech beer called Budweisser!

The brewery is located in the town of Ceske Budejovice or ”Budweiss” in german language. This is where the name came from.We’ll have a private guided tour of this Brewery and we’ll learn about the history of beer making that goes back 700 years in this town and about the controversy between Czech and American Budweisser. And of course we’ll taste!

We’ll enjoy included lunch in a nearby Restaurant and then we’ll continue on to Cesky Krumlov-a beautiful medieval town that is another UNESCO World Heritage Site on our trip.

After arrival to Cesky Krumlov, we’ll check in to our hotel and soon after we’ll begin with a guided walking tour of the historic centre ending with the Castle visit. Most of the original architecture of the buildings and Castle dates back between 14th and 17th century in gothic,renessaince or baroque styles.

Dinner is on your own tonight and as usual your tour director will have reccommendations of restaurants for you.

Time to leave Czech Republic and visit Austria

We’ll begin our transfer in the morning to the capital city of Austria, Vienna!After arrival,check in to our hotel and an included lunch we’ll be ready to visit the most beautiful palace in Vienna, the  Schonbrunn Palace.

This magnificent late baroque building with huge park is one of the most important architectural,cultural and historical monuments in Austria.It was the imperial summer residence of ruling Habsurg Family build as a rival to French Versailles.The entire complex is included on the UNESCO world heritage sites list.

On our guided tour you’ll admire magnificent apartments of Maria Theresa including her sitting rooms and bedroom,the Parlour where 6 years old Mozart used to play for the Empress,the Hall of ceremonies,the imposing Gobelin salon with it’s exquisite Brussels tapestries,rooms with frescoed ceilings,chrystal chandeliers,huge mirrors,gilded ornaments   but as well the private apartments of Imperial couple,Franz Joseph and Sisi.

We’ll return to our hotel in the early evening. Dinner is on your own tonight.

On our last full day of our trip we’ll have a guided city tour of Vienna.

We’ll be driving along the famous Ringstrasse-2,5miles long Grand Boulevard circling the city centre, build on the order of emperor Franz Joseph 150 years ago , and walking with our local guide admiring the famous Landmarks of the city – St.Stephens Cathedral, The Hofburg Imperial Palace, The Opera house, the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament Building, Maria Hilfe Strasse, Museums,Graben,Albertina a more… Historic centre of Vienna is too a UNESCO world heritage site.

Lunch is on your own and afternoon is at your leisure.Visit some of the finest museums,churches,palaces,take a walk in the park,enjoy shopping  or taste the famous Sacher torte with a nice cup of coffee and feel like a monarch in this royal city.

All of us will meet again in the evening for our Farewell Dinner!
